On behalf of our parents Nazario & Susana, my brothers and sisters, Tony, Oscar, Tere, Leticia and I have developed this site as a token of our appreciation for your contribution to making their 60th Wedding Anniversary more memorable than we could have hoped.

We will leave this site up indefinately. If you come back and I have changed it for some reason, look for the link as I will archive it and not let it go away.

Please copy and save any of the photos or text that you would like to keep from these pages. If you have something special that you would like to share, email me at amadorrh@texas.net and we'll try our best to add it to the page. Make sure to write "60th" in the subject box of the email so I will not toss it if I don't recognize your email address.

The Service....

Words by Tony Hernandez, Eldest Son.....

First of all let me thank you for being here with us to celebrate this great occasion. The 60th anniversary of our Mother and Father. It would take another 59 years to tell you every thing about them. The things that we as a family have endured, from losing our loved one's to welcoming new additions to our family. All in all, we have been a very close family.

The other day my friend and I were talking about the lottery. He said, "Tony, what would you do if you won the lottery, you would be a rich man?" I looked him straight in the face and I told him, "I am a rich person, you see, I still have my Mom and Dad."

Mom, Pop, may the Lord bless and keep you for many years to come. We all love you. Happy 60th Anniversary!

Tony........

An address was also given by Gregory Paul Machado at the service, the eldest grandson. In it he recalls lessons learned from his grandparents.

Oscar Hernandez, the second son of Nazario & Susana elated the attendees with the recitation of a poem which he prepared for the occasion.

SESENTA ANOS DE AMOR

HOY REPICARON LAS CAMPANAS,
EL CIELO SE ILUMINO.
SESENTA ANOS DE UNA UNION
DE VIDA FRUTOS Y AMOR.

NAZARIO Y SUSANA CUMPLIERON
EL MANDATO DEL SENOR
DE FORMAR UNA FAMILIA
CON SU PROIO ESPLENDOR.

HOY, HAN PASADO EL OTONO
Y LAS HOJAS VAN CAYENDO,
Y CON ELLAS RECOGIENDO
LOS FRUTOS DE RETONO
QUE SON SUS HIJOS QUERIDOS.
CON UN VIENTO SIN COLOR
Y TODOS CON AMOR A CRISTO
LOGRARON LA LUZ DEL SOL
Y HOY JUNTOS SESENTA ANOS,
DIERON GRACIAS AL CREADOR.
