To Welcome You to this momentous occassion

To Thank You for coming to celebrate this gift that has been bestowed upon our family.

On July 4, 1939 our parents joined hands, creating a union that has span

six decades, five children, eight grand children, and a growing number of great, great grand children...

Parents & Siblings...

And the grandchildren abound.........

Many of us in this room can only imagine what it must be like to live to see our 60th year; let alone, what it must be like to share one's life and love with a single individual for 60 years.

I believe that even they could not imagine the richness and breadth of life that lay before them on that day, 60 years ago.

We are fortunate to witness today, our parents, in front of family and friends, commit themselves to one another through their union for the fourth time in their lives.

And we are all the more fortunate to have you all here today to share in this moment with us.......

We would be remiss, however if we did not take the time to pay tribute, by remembering those of our family and friends that can no longer be with us on such occasions. We pray that the Lord keep them well and that if it is at all possible, that they are with us in spirit today.

Their life together has not been without doubt and tribulation, they have known the joys, successes and disappointments that life bestows......

Through it all, love has endured......

and today, we as a family ask that you join us once again in honoring this tremendous achievement!
